Obituary of Ernest Bellefeuille

BELLEFEUILLE, Reverend Ernest - It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Reverend Ernest Bellefeuille at the age of 76 years, on Tuesday July 17, 2007 at the Cornwall Community Hospital - McConnell Site. Ernest attended the University of Toronto and graduated in 1953 with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. He founded Medical Arts Pharmacy in Cornwall in 1956. He was ordained a Deacon in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Alexandria-Cornwall at Nativity Co-Cathedral in 1982 and spent 25 years in service to the Parish of St. Columban's. He was also active in his community as a member and Past President of the Kinsmen Club, and also served on the Executive of the Cornwall Minor Hockey Association. Beloved husband of 50 years to the former Shannon MacDonald. Loving father of Paul (Beverley), David (Mary), Ann (Bill), Michael (Julie), and John. Sadly missed by his seven grandchildren Shannon, Patrick, Joseph, Katie, Jenna, Molly, and Julia. Dear brother of Lorraine Gareau (Marcel), Madeleine Besse (late Gordon), Reverend Edward Bellefeuille, Georgette McDonald (James), Norma Plumondon (late Gordon), Dolores MacDonald (late Edward), Gabriel Bellefeuille (Helen), Claire Roberts (late Bill), and Carol Landriault (Marcel). Predeceased by his parents Norman and Alice (Hurtubise) Bellefeuille; and his brothers Wilfred (Joan), Emile (Lucille), Clifford (Nora) and Joseph. Resting at the WILSON FUNERAL HOME 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall from 2 PM Thursday July 19th. The Mass of the Resurrection with Commendation and Farewell will be celebrated in St. Columban's Roman Catholic Church on Friday July 20, 2007 at 10:00 AM. Rite of Committal to follow in the parish cemetery. Visitation Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM, Friday 8:30 - 9:15 AM.
