Obituary of Erita-Ethel Paterson

Passed away peacefully with family by her side on Sunday, March 2, 2003. Born in Montreal, Quebec on December 2, 1926. Lovingly remembered by her family, husband Bill, children Bob (Colleen), Willie (Mary), Andy (Kim), grandchildren, Liam and Haley, sister Velma Elliott, brothers, Gordon (Catherine), Frank (Jackie) Douglas. Predeceased by her parents Albert and Ethel, brother Billy (Korea) and sister Murial Synnuck. An avid gardener who loved her garden and also enjoyed playing her organ and painting pictures. Rita will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her. A Visitation will be held at Sands Funeral Chapel, 187 Trunk Road, Duncan, BC on Thursday, March 6, 2003 from 7 to 9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at Sands Funeral Chapel, on Friday, March 7, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. The Reverend Don Hatfield officiating. Interment at Hatley Memorial Gardens, 2050 Sooke Road, Colwood, BC on Saturday, March 8, 10:30 a.m. In memory of Rita, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 108-225 Canada Avenue, Ducan, BC V9L 1T6 or to the Cowichan District Hospital, 3045 Gibbins Road, Duncan, BC V9L 1E5.
