Obituary of Emily-Marie McIntyre

BARDSTOWN -- Emily Marie McIntyre, 55, entered eternal rest Saturday, April 5, 2003, at her residence. She was the former Emily Marie Blandford, a native of Jefferson County and a substitute teacher at Bethlehem High School, where she was active in many school activities. She was the loving wife of Leo McIntyre, and mother of Dr. Kelley McIntyre, Elizabeth McIntyre and Michael McIntyre and his wife, Marcia. She was the daughter of Mildred Blandford and the sister of Jerry and George Blandford. The Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2003, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery. A prayer service will be held at 5 p.m. Monday at Greenwell-Houghlin Northside Funeral Home, where friends may kindly visit from noon-9 p.m. Monday. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Hospice of Nelson County, KY.
