Obituary of Ellen-P. Byrne


Ellen P. Byrneof Gibbsboro, N.J.Ellen P. (nee Paul) Byrne, of Gibbsboro, N.J., passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2003. She was the Beloved wife of Frank Byrne Sr. and dear mother of two sons, Francis J. Jr., Willow Grove, Pa. and Kevin, Brooklyn, N.Y.; and six daughters, Kathleen Carswell, Moorestown, N.J., Patricia Berberich, Ulysses, Pa., Eileen Gero, Warminster, Pa., Maureen Lehotsky, Hatboro, Pa., Theresa Rhoades, Kent, Wash. and Ann Pfister, Windsor, N.Y. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Ellen was a veteran of the US Navy and a former Commander of the American Legion Post 371. She will be remembered as an activist for her country, community and church.Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Wednesday, from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday, from 10 to 11 a.m., at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, Gibbsboro, N.J. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Andrew the Apostle Church Thursday, at 11 a.m. Interment will be private. Donations may be made, in Ellen's memory, to either St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 120 United States Ave., Gibbsboro, N.J. 08026, or Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Dr., Suite 300, Marlton, N.J. 08053. www.bradleyfuneralhome-marlton.com
