Obituary of Elizabeth Duncan

DUNCAN, Elizabeth (Betty) November 5, 1923 to February 6, 2014 Born in Vancouver, Betty died peacefully on February 6 at Lynn Valley Care Centre. She will be greatly missed by life-long friend, Nancy, nephew Tom (Marilyn), good friends and those who fondly called her "aunt". Betty was a kind and loyal friend, always ready to lend a hand when needed. Betty worked for many years for local auto dealerships. She enjoyed sports, was an avid lawn and indoor bowler and a hockey and curling fan. We would like to thank the staff at Lynn Valley Care Centre and others who have given Betty good and kind care in the past years. A Memorial service will be held on February 22, at 10:00 am at the Boal Chapel, 1505 Lillooet Road, North Vancouver. No flowers by request but a donation, if you desire, may be made in her name to the SPCA .
