Obituary of Eddie-Ray Rice

RICE, Eddie Ray, 75, died at home, surrounded by his loving family, April 14, 2010. He owned and operated Ray' s Mobile Crane Service for 40 years and gave to many charitable organizations. He was preceded in death by his parents, Parker and Bessie Rice. He is survived by his beloved wife, June Rice; loving sons, Vaughn Rice, Vance Rice and Vern Rice; loving daughters, Rhonda Smith, Ramona Maxwell and Rena Rice; brother, Ralph Rice; sisters, LessieDean Pelfrey, Sue Koutnik, Charlotte Picket, Jean Fann, Sharonann Laster and Madeline Cutright; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and an extended loving family and numerous friends. Ray was very much loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, April 18, 2010, at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home.
