Obituary of Douglas-Emanuel Thompson

Dr. Douglas Emanuel Thompson - SOUTHBRIDGE, MA - Dr. Douglas Emanuel Thompson, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 16, 2007 at his residence after a short illness. He was a native of Chatham County and an Honor Graduate of Windsor Forest High School Class of 1982. He graduated from Duke University, Durham, NC and Ohio State University, Columbus OH, where he received his medical degrees. He was of the Catholic faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Daisy B. German-Thompson. Survivors are his sisters, Betty Jordan, Maggie James, Barbara Conyers, Daisy Thompson, Gloria Johnson, and Rose Thompson; brothers, George Thompson, all of Savannah, GA and Paul Thompson of Homestead, FL; stepsisters and brothers, Brenda Bell, Sandra Washington, Luther Washington, Jr., a host of other relatives and friends.
