Obituary of Dorothy-J. Miner-Lauro


Dorothy J. Miner-Lauro of Bayonet Point, Fla. Dorothy J. Miner-Lauro passed away peacefully at the age of 81 on August 30, 2008 in Bayonet Point, Florida. She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph Miner. They were married for 46 years. She is survived by her husband, Frank Lauro. She and Ralph had four children, Mike and Laura Miner, Cumbria, UK; Joanne and Rudy Hewitt, Wheaton, Md.; Darlene and Ralph Stephens, Johnson City, N.Y.; Richard and Christine Miner, Delran, N.J.; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Dorothy was a Registered Nurse until she retired from Ideal Hospital in Endicott, N.Y. She loved to collect antiques and dolls. We all loved her and will miss her dearly. A Memorial Service was held on Sept. 3rd at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fla. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Deborah Heart and Lung Hospital, 200 Trenton Road, Brown Mills, N.J. 08015.
