ALEXANDER _ Dorothy 1916 - 2005 Dorothy Alexander of Calgary passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2005 after a full 89 years of life. Dorothy was born in Winnipeg, MB on January 26, 1916. Dorothy met Stu in Toronto, ON and they moved to Calgary in 1946. She was always active with bridge, gardening, outdoor activities and sports, especially curling and golf, all of which led to many long time wonderful friendships. She found the positive in everyone and everything and accomplished her goal of never having to move from her Killarney house of fifty-seven years. Dorothy is survived by her loving son Greg (Deb); grandchildren, Sean and Suzanne; step-grandchildren, Riley, Shea, Grady, and Hayley Fairbanks; and little companion Scooter. She was predeceased by her husband Stuart in 1991; and her siblings, Dick, Alice, Jack and Sue. A Celebration of Dorothy's life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Wednesday, April 6, 2005 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. If friends so desire memorial tributes can be made directly to the Junior Golf Scholarship Fund, c/o the Earl Grey Golf Club, 6540 - 20 Street S.W., Calgary, AB T3E 5L2.
