Obituary of Denis Boyle

BOYLE, Denis Ivanhoe From Ottawa and Merrickville, passed away peacefully at age 80 on Saturday, July 10, 2010. Husband to the late Shirley Elizabeth (nee Thomas) and youngest son of Francois and Azemia Boyle (nee Lalonde) of Ottawa. Father to James Skead of B.C., the late Sharon Skead-Andrews (Richard of England), David Skead (Barbara) of Bells Corners, Susan Donetti (John) of California, Jane-Marie Boyle (Donald) of South Mountain, Denis Boyle (Jan) of Minnesota, Michel Boyle of Ottawa, Robert Boyle (Dawn) of B.C. and Julianne Boyle (Frank) of Michigan. Grandfather of Ashley Skead of Philippines, Emma of England, Jenna (Mike), Geoffrey and Carly Skead of Ottawa, Jonathan, and Jessica of Minnesota, Laura and Daniel Boyle of B.C. and great-grandfather of Gavyn Skead of Bells Corners. Baby brother to G.J. Robert (Helene), Frank (Lionel) (Joyce), Paul (Blanche), Raymond (Marcelle), Jean-Charles (Jeanette), Albine and Rolland. Dad was well travelled, receiver of the King Scout Award at age 18, graduated from the University of Ottawa and Osgoode Hall and retired from Federal Government. He will be greatly missed by all. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Service will be held at Capital Memorial Gardens, 3700 Prince of Wales Drive, Ottawa, 613-692-3588, on Friday, July 16, 2010 at 1 p.m. In memorium donations may be made to CHEO or the Alzheimer Society.
