Obituary of Charlotte-Dorothy Mackay

INNES Charlotte Dorothy Charlotte Dorothy Innes, born June 21, 1935, passed away peacefully March 8, 2006 in her home surrounded by her loving children, Sheryll Roy, Kim Dreger, Kathy Livingston, Tom Innes Jr. She is predeceased by her ex-husband and longtime friend Tom Innes Sr. and brothers, Danny and Bill MacKay. She is survived by her sisters, Jessie MacDonald, Sheila MacKay and Margret Reitbauer; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Many of her successful endeavors included Chador Kennels which produced one of the most decorated champion toy poodles in North America. She was also a master seamstress who was tremendously gifted in her creations. Her true passion was gardening which she loved immensely. With her many talents and her unconditional love, she fed and nurtured everyone she knew. Her strength and courage was an inspiration that will stay with us forever... The family would like to thank the staff of the Red Deer Regional Hospital, Endoscopy department for their support, and treating our mother with dignity and respect. A very special thank you to Dr. Heisler for his friendship, humanity and compassion while our mother was in his care. A tribute to her life will be held at the Sylvan Lake Lions Hall, 5119 - 50 Avenue, Sylvan Lake, AB, 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, March 18, 2006.
