Obituary of Carmen St-Jean

ST-JEAN, Carmen (nee Lafleur)July 25, 1922 – July 27, 2014After a long battle with Alzheimer's, Mom is now reunited with the love of her life and best friend, Sylvio and beloved son Jacques (wife Jocelyne St-Arnaud). Carmen was the daughter of the late Louisia Morin and Alphonse Lafleur. Carmen will be missed by her much loved children, Jean-Guy (Suzanne Laframboise), Colette (Scott Stilborn), Andre (Louise Methot) and Carole (Perry Hall). She leaves behind her cherished 8 grandchildren and 13 great- grandchildren. Carmen was predeceased by her brothers and sisters. She also leaves many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral Service in the presence of her ashes will be held Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Eglise Notre-Dame- de-la-Guadeloupe, 14, rue de la Guadeloupe, Gatineau (Hull), QC. The family will receive condolences from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society will be greatly appreciated, www.alzheimer.ca/Quebec. The family would like to extend a heartfelt Thank You to all the 2nd floor staff of the CHSLD Foyer du Bonheur for making sure Mom's final days were filled with compassion and care.
