CLIFFORD EDWIN PERRY Passed away peacefully at Newmarket Health Centre on Sunday, August 10, 2014 at age 93. He will be greatly missed by Dorothy, his wife of 67 years, his children Heather (deceased), Judy (Chris), Bob and Jim (Lauren), his treasured grandchildren Alexandra, Daniel and Victoria, his sister-in-law Maureen, his nieces and nephews and cousins on both sides of the Atlantic. Cliff grew up in North Toronto. He joined the Royal Canadian Navy Volunteer Reserve and proudly served as Lieutenant with the Royal Navy during World War II, participating in many actions, including D-Day. On his return, he embarked on a long and successful advertising career in Toronto and Montreal. He and Dorothy built their own house in Pefferlaw and had many happy years in their home on the river. They moved to Dorothy's home town of Newmarket in 2000. Our heartfelt thanks to the staff of 3 North at NHC for their loving care during Cliff's 5 year stay. At Cliff's request, there will not be a service, but instead a celebration of his life on Sunday, August 24th at 2 p.m. at the Optimist's Club, 55 Forhan Ave. in Newmarket. Please come and raise a toast to Cliff and share stories of your friendship with him.
