Obituary of Charles-Thomas Austin

Charles Thomas Austin, 71, passed away on February 3, 2010. He was born in Woodlawn, Bronx on December 22, 1938. He has been a resident of Congers, NY for the past 44 years. Chuck was from a proud family of Marines and will be laid to rest at the Rockland County Veterans Cemetery in Pomona, NY with full military honors. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Barbara, and his children; Wendy and Jim Hartigan, Carrie and John Constantino, Michelle Austin Charles Austin and Allison and Ed Meehan. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren; John Thomas, Kyle, Julianne, Amanda, Michelle and Charlie. A wake will be held today (Thursday) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at the Hannemann Funeral Home, Inc. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday February 6, 2010 at 10 AM at St. Paul's RC Church in Congers.
