Obituary of Beatrice-Louise Douglas

DOUGLAS, Beatrice Louise April 24, 1936 September 15, 2009 With great love and sadness we announce the passing of our wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Born in Hudson Hope, BC to Dorothy and Donald Macdonald, the family moved to Victoria in 1944. She married Ron in 1955 and raised three sons. Predeceased by son, Bradley; sisters, Margaret (Ray) and Norma (Alvin), Remembered and survived by husband, Ronald, sisters, Jean, Joyce, Catherine, Dorothy; brothers, Jack and Donald; sons, Mike Sr. (Jane), Chris (Lori); grandchildren, Mike Jr., Lisa and Jake, plus many nieces and nephews. Thank you doesn't begin to express our gratitude to the staff and clients on the sixth floor at Selkirk Place. Bea will always be remembered for her kindness and generosity and will be deeply missed by family and friends. A memorial service will be held for Bea on September 24, 2009, 2:00pm at Sands Funeral Chapel, 317 Goldstream Avenue.
