Obituary of Barbara-Vannort Brooks

Barbara Vannort Brooks passed away June 29, 2001. Barbara was born October 20, 1928 in Port Deposit, Maryland. She was involved in P.E.O., Newcomers Club and Episcopal Church Women. She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving and devoted husband, Hal Brooks; aunt, Maxine Playfair; brother, David N. Vannort; son, Paul Brooks and his wife Barbara; daughter, Leslie Iorio and her husband Joe; and seven grandchildren, Maggie, John and Anne Brooks and Grace, Michelle, Thomas and Anthony Iorio; and many other loving relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held tomorrow, Monday, July 2 at 10:30 a.m. at San Jose Episcopal Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made, in her memory, to the P.E.O. Sisterhood, c/o 4837 Deermoss Way, Jacksonville, 32217.
