<!-- FH = The Howze Mortuary -->Barbara TaylorTravelers RestBarbara Ann Cummings Taylor, 81, passed away on June 21st, 2012 at Spartanburg Regional Hospital.Born in Asheville, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Mr. G. D. and Mrs. Exa Y. Cummings and a graduate of Lee H. Edwards High School, class of 1947. She met her future husband just prior to his joining the US Air Force and his deployment to Korea. Once Arthur's enlistment was completed, they married and relocated to Travelers Rest, where they raised their family.Mrs. Taylor is survived by her husband of 58 years, Arthur William Taylor; 2 sons, Art Taylor of Greer and Doug Taylor of Travelers Rest; brother Harold (Betty) Cummings of Opelika, AL; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 24th, 2012 at 3 p.m. at The Howze Mortuary with visitation one hour prior from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m.Burial will be at Grand View Memorial Gardens.The family will be at the home of Doug Taylor.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to BSA Troop 603, 308 Johnson Rd., Greer, SC 29651.Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.thehowzemortuary.com The Howze Mortuary, Travelers Rest, is in charge of the arrangements.
