Obituary of Armand Lambert


LAMBERT, Armand (1912 - 2010) After a brief illness, Armand died at the age of ninety-eight in the arms of his beloved wife of sixty-five years, Marie Lambert (Larouche). Armand had a long and distinguished career in the public sector as Director of Finance of the City of Montreal and later as Commissioner of the CTCUM. In addition to his dear wife, Armand leaves to mourn his brother Marcel (Madeleine), his sister Mariette (Templeton), his son Philippe, his daughter Suzanne (Colson), his son-in-law Daniel Colson and his two beloved grandsons, Charles and Timothy Colson as well as many dear friends, nephews and nieces who are all deeply saddened by the passing of a refined, elegant, kind and wise patriarch. There will be a private funeral service for the family. A celebration of his long life for friends and family will take place from 3 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 5 the Mount Royal Club, 175 Sherbrooke St. W., Montreal). In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association (326-911 Jean Talon East, Montreal, Qc., H2R 1V5) would be much appreciated.
