Obituary of Annie-D. Gorman

Annie D. (nee Dubowik) Gormanformerly of VestalAnnie D. (nee Dubowik) Gorman, 87, formerly of Vestal, died Sunday, April 17, 2005, in Columbia, Maryland. She had been living in Ellicott City, Md for the past seven years. She was a registered nurse who retired from the DC Department of Health, and was predeceased by her husband of 41 years, Thomas F. Gorman. She is survived by her daughter, Anne (Gorman) West; son-in-law, Harold West; and grandson, Michael West, all of Ellicott City, Md. She is also survived by a brother, Tony, Candor, N.Y.; two sisters, Leona Stinard, Candor, N.Y., and Mary Cross, Sierra Vista, Ariz.; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Veronica Dubowik and Genee DuBois.A Memorial Mass will be offered Saturday at 10:45 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Vestal. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends are invited to call Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Arrangements are with the Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home, Inc. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
