->Burke, Anna Marie JohnsonAnna Marie Johnson Burke passed away on October 22, 2011 in Danbury , Ct. Anna was born on September 12, 1915 to the parents of Joseph and Anna Johnson.Mrs. Burke was a former resident of Elmsford, NY and graduated from Washington Irving High School. Anna married Harold Burke in 1939. She worked as a salesperson at Genungs in White Plains, NY as well as a homemaker. Mrs. Burke was an active member of OLMC Church in Elmsford for over 75 years. Anna enjoyed crossword puzzles, Scrabble, knitting and was an avid reader. Anna was a loving mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.Mrs. Burke is predeceased by her husband, Harold, who passed away in 2000 after 61 years of marriage.Mrs. Burke is survived by her 3 daughters, Barbara Blundell, and her husband, Richard, Gail Yocis and her husband, Ken and Dr. Elaine Burke and her husband, Jay Clark, 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.Visitation will be held Monday, 2-4 and 6-8PM Mc Elroy Flynn Funeral Home, Elmsford. Funeral Mass is Tuesday 11AM at Our Lady Mt. Carmel Church, Elmsford.
