Obituary of Amy-Mae-Greer Turner

Amy Mae Greer Turner CHESNEE, SC-- Amy Mae Greer Turner, 88, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2010. A native of Greenville County, she was the wife of the late Arnold Dewitt Turner and the daughter of the late Ben and Lena Wood Greer. She is survived by one son, Ronnie Turner and wife, Doris of Chesnee; three sisters, Edna Smith, Helen Whitmire, and Mary Hayes, all of Spartanburg; one brother, Bobby Greer of Spartanburg; one granddaughter, Denna Humphries and husband, Jeff of Campobello; one grandson, Shaun Turner of Campobello; five great-grandchildren, Chris Humphries, Cole Humphries, Meghan Humphries, Andy Johnson, and Michelle Johnson. She was preceded in death by one son, Gerald Turner. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM, Friday, November 19, 2010, at Eggers Funeral Home in Chesnee. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 PM in the Chapel with the Rev. Ken Wyatt officiating. Interment will be at Springhill Memorial Gardens in Chesnee, SC. Pallbearers will be Dave Gore, Junior Whitmire, Jeff Humphries and Cecil Waddell. The family is at the home of her son, Ronnie Turner, 130 Dove Ridge Lane, Chesnee, SC.
