->O'Donnell, WilliamOf Binghamton: William O'Donnell, 96, resident of Good Shepherd Fairview Home, died November 7, 2012. He is predeceased by his parents,William and Matilda O'Donnell, from Armagh, Ireland and Bridgewater, Massachusetts, and his wives, the former wives, Virginia Graham and Helen Mackenzie, as well as his sister, Elizabeth Copeland. He is survived by his children: Janice Fiore (Vicky Gordon), Binghamton; Vance O'Donnell (Kathryn Franz), Marion, NY; Christine O'Donnell (Al Fortunato), Binghamton; Mavis (Lance) Marshall,Columbia, SC, Barbara (Alan) Pascucci, Southport, NC; Dennis (Lynn) Graham, Endwell and grandchildren: Joshua Fiore (Danielle Macado), Benjamin Fiore, Rachel Liste (Fred Stanton), Helen O'Donnell (Noah Hoskins-Forsythe); Jennifer O'Donnell, Robert (Jennifer) Pascucci, Stacy Pascucci, and great grandchildren, Madison and Sawyer. A former resident of Endwell and Chenango Forks, he and his second wife, Virginia also resided in Stuart, Florida in the winter months for many years. Well-traveled, he enjoyed retirement and played golf daily. He was a World War II veteran and a member of the 10th Mountain Division fighting in Italy from 1943-1945 as acting Battalion Sergeant-Major just before the end of the war. He was a Sales Division Manager for Liberty Mutual for 39 years followed by a brief time in real estate. He was one of the founders of the Chenango Forks Civic Association and one of its first youth basketball coaches. He served as President of the Board of Education for Chenango Forks Central School for 10 years. He often repeated at family gatherings that the most important thing in life is family and to always remember the love we have for one another. A Memorial Mass will be held at the Church of the Holy Family, Endwell at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 24. The family will receive guests at the church from 9:30 a.m. until mass begins. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City, with a luncheon to follow. Arrangements are by AEGIS CREMATION & FUNERAL SERVICES 196 Clinton Street Binghamton.
