WILMA JEAN NEWELL CROWN POINT, IN Wilma Jean Newell, age 78, of Crown Point, IN, loving wife, homemaker, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt, passed away on Friday, September 28, 2012. Wilma is survived by her two loving sons: Terry (Sharon) Newell and son, Marshall (Connie) Newell; dearest grandma of grandchildren: Leslie Newell, Lisa (Scott) McNeil, Carol Newell and Johnny Newell; great-grandma of Logan McNeil; sister of Conley (Lenell) Alcorn; and sister-in-law of David (Shirley) Newell. She was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Newell; and parents: Hulen and Lola Alcorn. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at Geisen Funeral-Cremation & Reception Centre, 606 E. 113th Ave./ South St., Crown Point, IN from 2:00 to 4:00 PM with the funeral service from 4:00 to 5:00 PM, officiated by nephews: Harlan Brown and Ron Gallegos.
