Thu Thi Nguyen, 96, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012. Funeral is Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the Megaro Memorial Home, 503 Union Ave., Belleville , N.J., megaromemorialhome.com. Mass is at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, Nutley, N.J. Interment is in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, N.J. Visitation is Monday and Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Born in Ngoc-Dong Hung Yen, North Vietnam, she fled to Vung Tau, South Vietnam, in 1954 and came to the United States in 1975, residing in Belleville, N.J., and Nutley. She is survived by her sons, Dam Pham and his wife, Joann, of Belleville; Doang Pham and his wife, Hoang, of Belleville; Thanh Pham and his wife, Hong, of Nutley, and Van Pham and his wife, Huong, of New Orleans, La.; daughters, Cat Pham of Shreveport, La.; Hoang Melito and her husband, Ralph, of Bloomfield, N.J., and Tham Pham and her husband, Chingyen, of New Orleans; 27 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
