MEAGHER, Thomas Clifford It is with great sorrow that the Meagher family announces the passing of Thomas Clifford Meagher on August 17, 2011, at the age of 81. Tom was a devoted companion to his loving wife Ruth, proud father to his children (Bruce, Tracey, Dave, and Craig) and their spouses; and distinguished story teller for his grandchildren (Anne Marie, Chelsea, Jack, Jamie, Jasmine, Micheal) and nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his loving wife and brothers (Francis Gerald, Donald Patrick) and sister (Mary Margaret). He is survived by his children, grandchildren, and sisters (Barbara Ann, Catherine Diane, Joan Beverly, Phyllis Ann). An accountant by trade, Tom will surely be remembered for his kind and generous nature, quick wit and humour, sharp mind, love of golf and sports, and a unique laugh that made everyone smile. He was a friendly, fun, honest and wonderful person that will be truly missed. A celebration of Tom's life will take place on Thursday, August 25, 2011 at 12 noon at St. Patrick's Catholic Church (2060 Haultain Street, Victoria, B.C.).
