Tan D. Nguyenof Dracut; 47 LOWELL -- Tan D. Nguyen, 47, of Dracut, died unexpectedly Tuesday, January 21, 2015 at Lowell General Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Lieu Thi Do, with whom he spent 25 loving years of marriage. Tan was born on November 17, 1967 in Saigon, Vietnam, a son to Da Van Nguyen and Chuc Nguyen. He was a graduate of UMass Lowell, where he earned his Bachelors degree. Tan was a Software Engineer for many years. At IBM and Pega Systems in Cambridge. In addition to his wife, Lieu, he is survived by his two sons, Jonathan M. Nguyen, and Peter H. Nguyen, both of Dracut, as well as many friends, colleagues, and family members in the United States and Vietnam. NGUYEN -- Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 5-9:30 p.m. on FRIDAY, January 30th at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., Dracut. His funeral will be held from the funeral home on SATURDAY, January 31st 9 a.m. and his Funeral Mass will follow at St. Patrick's Church, LOWELL, at 10 a.m. Burial in SAINT PATRICK CEMETERY, 452 N Broadway, Haverhill, MA 01832.
