HALE Robert George "Bob" Passed away peacefully into the arms of our Lord August 29, 2009. Born October 24, 1923 in Edmonton, Alberta to the late George and Agnes Hale. Pre-deceased by his, "forever bride" Dolores in 1993. Survived and dearly missed by son, Lawrence (Linda), daughter Danese (Al), grandchildren Brianna (Jon), Alan, Michael, Chelsea, Brian and Taylor, and great-granddaughter Danica. Papa was one of the hardest working, "tin bashing"dudes you will ever meet. His wit and intelligence on every level was unparalleled. His faith and love were as strong as his heart and hardworking hands. Many thanks go out to all the doctors and staff on the cardiac care ward at Royal Columbian Hospital, the amazing people on C2B and W2B wards at Eagle Ridge Hospital , and the caring staff at Queens Park care center. You all rock! Graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at 2pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby, phone 604-299-7711. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Union Gospel Mission in Bob's name. Sleep sweet Papa. Thank you so much for a life time of love, understanding and knowledge. We love you.
