->Myers, Robert C.Newark: On July 2, 2012 at age 82. Friends may call from 5-8 P.M. on Thurs. (July 5th) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 E. Miller St., Newark, where Funeral Services will be held at 11 A.M. Friday (July 6th). Burial with full military honors will follow at the Newark Cem. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the Wayne County Humane Society, 1475 County House Rd., Lyons, NY 14489. Bob was the assistant manager for over 41 years at the Newark Loblaws/Bell Super Markets. He joined the U.S. Marines in 1946 serving four years and was recalled to active duty during the Korean War. He was a member of the August Mauer Post American Legion. Bob loved to work in his vegetable and flower gardens at his residence on Welcher Rd.He is survived by his son, Steven of Fairport; granddaughter, Shannon (Adam) Bergstresser of Canandaigua; niece, Janis (Bill) Connor; nephew, Gary (Friderun) DeMay.
