Lewis)Beloved, Beloved Father, dedicated husband, most importantly… Lover of God, climbed the Mountain and went home to his Lord and new life on Monday, Dec. 8, 2014 at 11:30 a.m., Southwestern Vermont Medical Center, Bennington, VT.John was born on 12.17.1923 in Kingston, N.Y. to Grace and John Fay.He attended Kingston, N.Y. schools, graduated from Kingston High School in 1942 and shortly after joined the U.S. Navy. He served in World War II as a Radioman/Airman. During his service he met his wife, Anna Parker Long in Salisbury, Md. and they married on June 27, 1945. They were married for 45 years until Anna's death in Oct.er 1989. His only child, a daughter, Joanne Fay Koster was born to this union. John graduated from Bliss Electrical College, Silver Spring, Md. and worked for Chesapeake Airways, Salisbury, Md., the Dupont Company, Kinston, N.C., the Pennsylvania Railroad, Salisbury, Md. and IBM Corporation, Kingston, N.Y. In midlife he followed his heart and calling to enter the Ministry. He attended Glen Cove Bible College, Glen Cove, Maine and served churches in Owl's Head, Maine, New Lebanon, N.Y., Berlin, N.Y, and Cherry Plain, N.Y. He received his Ordination to Ministry in the First Baptist Church, Berlin, N.Y. In later years, he also worked for WHAZ-AM radio, Troy, N.Y.After Anna's death, John married Elizabeth Grunge, East Poestenkill, N.Y. in 1990 until her death. Following Elizabeth's (Betsy) death, John married Martha, who survives him. He is also survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Joanne and Gary Koster, Greenville, N.C. and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother Grace Nenni and sister Virginia Ambrose both of Kingston. Burial has been private in Rosendale Cemetery, Rosendale, N.Y. John dedicated his life to the following message: For God so loved the world that he gave his only and unique Son so that everyone who trusts in Him may have life… eternal. John 3:16
