Avis de décès de Paul F. Bruneau


Paul Francis Bruneau WEYMOUTH Paul Francis Bruneau, age 70, of Weymouth passed away October 9, of complications from pancreatic cancer. Born in Northbridge, MA, raised in Whitinsville and Blackstone, Rhode Island, he was a graduate of St. Pauls Elementary School and Mt. St. Charles Academy in Woonsocket, RI. A veteran of the United States Navy, he traveled the world as a young man and again later in life with the students and families of Thayer Academy, where his wife was a teacher for over 20 years. As late as this June, he traveled with his entire extended family to Medjugorje, Bosnia-Herzegovina. He retired after 30 years at IBM to start a business in videography and photography turning a lifelong hobby into a career capturing South Shore weddings, large Boston conferences, and still images of the New England landscape. A special joy was to create an annual video for Thayer Academys graduating class and souvenir videos of his travel excursions. He was a past officer of the South Shore Camera Club and past president of the IBM Club in Austin, Texas. He leaves behind his devoted wife of 45 years, Paula (Valicenti) Bruneau, his children, Paulette (Bruneau) Brooks of Auburn, Maine; Anthony P. Bruneau and his fianc, Amanda Johnson, of Weymouth; and Valerie P. Bruneau of Weymouth. He also leaves his cherished granddaughter, Carolyn R. Brooks, his beloved sisters, Madeline Azoulay and Louise Bennett of Rockville, Maryland, and his nephew and niece, Stephen and Amanda Bennett, of Buffalo, New York. Funeral from the McDonald Funeral Home, SO. WEYMOUTH at 809 Main St. (Rt.18 Opp. So. Sh. Hospital) Wednesday. at 10:30 a.m. Followed by a Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, E. Weymouth at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Fairmount Cemetery, E. Weymouth. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Tues. 2-4 and 7-9. In lieu of flowers: St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee or The Andrew L.
