Olive Audelle Cole, 85, of Sheffield, Ala., died Sunday, Dec. 12, 2004. Visitation was 6-8:30 p.m. Monday at Florence First Assembly of God. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at the church, with Darrin English and Anthony Martin officiating. The casket will be placed in the church one hour before the service. Interment willbe at noon Wednesday at Zion Cemetery in Newbern, Tenn., with Greg Woodall officiating.Mrs. Cole was a native of Dyer County, Tenn., and a member of Florence First Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Williams Cole; son, Billie Lewis Cole; and brother, Lee Blackburn.Left to cherish her memory are her son, Carl D. Cole and wife, Judy, of Portland, Ore.; daughters, Jackie Woodall and husband, Arlin, of Muscle Shoals, and Lana Boatwright and husband, Rickey, of Muscle Shoals; grandchildren, Connie Beth Grinnell, Greg Woodall, Cassandra Cole, Elizabeth Boatwright and Shelley Boatwright; great-grandchildren, Clint Grinnell, Clay Grinnell, Ashlyn Woodall and Lauren Woodall; special niece, Pat Blackburn Wright; and special Pallbearers will be Clint Grinnell, Clay Grinnell, Lee Blackburn Jr., Richard Beaver, Jimmy Beaver and Charles Lee.The family wishes to give special thanks to Dr. Jack McLendon and nurses of Helen Keller Hospital, A&E Hospice, Darren Willett, Nita Bradley, Becky Borden, and her precious sitters, Marilyn Kelly, Janet Ivey and Naomi Flurry.Mother lived her life to the fullest. She loved her church and served as a children's Sunday school teacher for many years. She never missed a service while she was able. She wrote poetry, loved to shop, eat out and dress up. Her home was filled with many dolls she collected. She was the center of our lives, and we will miss her terribly until we meet again.Morrison Funeral Home, of Tuscumbia, will be directing.
