SAUNDERS _ Michael Edward 1941 - 2002 Michael Edward Saunders, beloved husband of Sandy, Turner Valley and beloved father of Gillian Rae Saunders, Turner Valley, Michael Todd Saunders, Yellowknife and James Edward Saunders, Cold Lake, passed away peacefully at the Oilfields Hospital in Black Diamond on October 28, 2002. Michael is also survived by his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Gladys and Rev. Jim Veitch, Black Diamond; his sisters, Marge, Ruth, Shirley and Gerry; and his brother Harold; and by his extended family. Mike was predeceased by his parents, Harold and Dorothy Saunders. A remembrance of Mike's life will be held on Saturday, November 2 at 11:00 a.m. at Lewis Memorial United Church, Turner Valley, the Rev. Shelley Lavenne officiating.
