STRANGE, Maxwell William “Bill“ - Peacefully in the arms of his loving wife Nadene on Thursday, May 29, 2008 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He is predeceased by his parents The Honourable Maxwell William Strange and his wife Eleanor. He is missed by his son Bill and his wife Jennifer and their two children Max and Victoria and his son David and his wife Angela Hearn and their children Jessica, Elias and Cole. He also leaves his daughter Elizabeth. He is remembered and loved by his stepson Michael Murray and his wife Melina, his sister-in-law Kayla LaCroix and mother-in-law Lois Prue. Bill touched the life of many people including all the young people he taught in his 34 years of teaching in the Kingston and Amherstview areas. Bill was a seventh generation Kingstonian and loved the city and particularly Fort Henry, where as a young man he served as a guardsman and later served for 10 years as President of the Fort Henry Guard Club of Canada. Bill will also be missed by his badminton buddies and all of his travelling companions. In keeping with Bill's wishes, cremation has already taken place. Friends may call at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME (1900 John Counter Boulevard) on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A celebration of Bill's life will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Monday, June 2, 2008 at 11 am, with a reception to follow the service. A private family interment will take place later. As expression of sympathy, memorial donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family (Donations by cheque only please). 11109258
