.. Kramer, Mary Patricia TROY Mary Patricia "Pat" Caldwell Kramer, age 79, beloved wife of the late Francis J. Kramer Sr., entered into eternal life peacefully on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at the Springs Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Troy, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Watervliet on March 14, 1934, she was the daughter of the late James A. and Eleanor Soulier Caldwell. She was a graduate of Catholic Central High School, class of 1951, a graduate of the College of Saint Rose, class of 1955, and received her master's degree in education from the College of Saint Rose. She began her teaching career at the former Phillip Livingston School, where she specialized in educating the learning disabled. She then carried on teaching at St. Paul the Apostle Elementary School in Troy and then for the Enlarged City School District of Troy where she was certified in K-12 education. Pat and her husband, Francis J. "Jake" Kramer, along with their children, owned and operated Jake Kramer's Restaurant in Troy from 1981 to 1991. She was also an advertising sales representative for the Troy Record newspaper until she retired. Her spirit is carried on by her cherished sons, Francis J. Kramer Jr. (James Rood) of Troy and Stephen C. Kramer (Nanda Geranian) of Amesbury Mass., as well her beloved daughter Jocelyn M. Kramer (Laura Snider) of Green Island. She is also survived by her treasured granddaughters, Kylie Marie Kramer and Chloe Patricia Kramer, both of Amesbury. Mary Patricia is predeceased by her brothers, James and George Caldwell. The funeral will be from the Thomas S. Connolly Funeral Home, 294 Whiteview Road, Wynantskill on Monday, December 23, 2013 at 9:15 a.m. and 10 a.m. from the Christ Sun of Justice at the Chapel + Cultural Center at RPI, 2125 Burdett Ave., Troy where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Edward Kacerguis, pastor. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Troy. Calling hours will be at the funeral home, today from 3 to 6 p.m. Should friends desire, a memorial contribution may be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor, Our Lady of Hope Residence, 1 Jeanne Jugan Lane, Latham, NY 12110.
