FORD, Madeline Louise (Lin) Slipped away comfortably in Victoria on October 14, 2008, with her children Pat and Doug (Mary) at her side. Sadly missed by her brother Don Marshall (Trish); her sister-in-laws Hilda Meadows and Edna Hundleby (Rex); and her many nieces and nephews. A courageous, creative, and erudite hostess, Lin has joined the love of her life, Geoff, at the cocktail party at the end of the universe. The compassion and caring given by staff at the Jubilee Hospital ICU and Royal 3 eased her final days immeasurably. A special thanks to Drs. Kuechler, Jones, and Atwell-Pope for their care and understanding. At Lin's request, there will be no service, but asked for all to raise a glass and have a laugh. A celebration of her life will be held 1 pm to 4 pm on November 1st at the Arbutus Ridge Golf Club Cobble Hill. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of BC & Yukon are deeply appreciated. 507006
