RODRIGUEZ, LUIS RAUL, 71, passed away Tuesday June 11, 2002 in Orlando, FL. Born in Corozal, Puerto Rico, and a resident of Orlando since 1985, moving here from New York City. Mr. Rodriguez was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in Korea. Mr. Rodriguez volunteered at ORMC and at VITAS (Hospice of Central Florida), member of the Marriage Encounter at St. James and FOCOS, and Board of Directors member of Immaculate Conception Foundation, Inc. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Rosaura Rodriguez; sons, Orlando of Queens, NY, Carlos (Diane) of Manalapan, NJ, and Edwin (Anita) of Orlando, FL; daughter, Mara Sanchez of New York City, NY; brothers, Jose of Puerto Rico, Rafael of New York City, Juan of Puerto Rico and Carlos of New York City; nine grandchildren, Desiree, Christina, Tamara, Marissa, Natalie, Jessica, Daniel, Jon, Luis; great grandchildren, Carina and Salina; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Luis R. Rodriguez Jr., and brothers, Oscar and Pablo Rodriguez. Visitation on Wednesday and Thursday, June 12th and 13th from 3-9PM at the Baldwin-Fairchild Ivanhoe Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday June 14th at St. James Cathedral 8:45AM with interment following at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
