Services for Judith Ann Tiemann Lester 61 will be 10:00 a.m. Friday May 14 2004 at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons with Dr. Maurice Hollingsworth officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Lester died Tuesday May 11 2004 at Maplewood Health Care Center. She was born February 5 1943 in Richview IL daughter of the late William and Emma Tiemann. She was a devoted wife and mother and a member of West Jackson Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband Melford H. Lester Jr.; son and daughter William Henry Lester and Lois Ann Lester all of Jackson; brother Norman C. Tiemann and wife Sally of Ridgeview IL; sister Lavern Fortmeyer of Irvington IL; aunt Mary Ann Tiemann; father-in-law Melford H. Lester Sr. of Jackson; sister-in-law Margaret Holmes of Powell TN; niece Vicki McDaniel and husband Steve of Richview IL; two nephews Bradley N. Tiemann and wife Tonya; Blaine Fortmeyer and wife Kathy all of Irvington IL; and several cousins great nieces and nephews. Casketbearers to serve are Curtis Holmes Ron Davis Charles Emrick Billy Futrell Dick Goddard and Billy Alred. Memorials may be directed to West Jackson Baptist Church Building Fund.
