Moulton<!-- Jones Allison Smith -->Funeral for Jones Allison Smith, 63, of Moulton will be Sunday, February 14, 2010, at 3 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with David Lowery officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.Mr. Smith, who died Friday, February 12, 2010, at his residence, was born February 24, 1946, at Irwin Clinic in Moulton to Gus William Smith and Lavern Royer Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Augusta (O.Z.) Gillespie; one brother, Gene Smith; and one granddaughter, Hannah Grace Taylor. He attended Lawrence County High School and Calhoun Community College and graduated from The University of Alabama. He became a Certified Public Accountant and owned an accounting firm in Moulton for 20 years until he retired. He was a founding member of the Rotary Club of Lawrence County, a member of Gideons of Lawrence County and also a member of The University of Alabama Alumni Association. Mr. Smith was a founding member and former pastor of Five Points Christian Church. Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Alexander Smith; two daughters, Nikki Smith Taylor (Tim) of Hartselle and Candace Smith Brown (Stacie) of Moulton; two grandsons, Lucas Brown and Greyson Taylor; one granddaughter, Cameron Taylor; one sister, Delores Smith Teague (Herbert); and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Five Points Christian Church, 500 Co. Rd. 434, Moulton, AL 35650 or to Gideons of Lawrence County, P.O. Box 135, Moulton, AL 35650.
