BENNINGTON -- John N. O’Shea, 51, a resident of Depot Street, died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2005, at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center following a long illness.Born in Waterbury, Conn., March 24, 1952, he was the son of the late John and Shirley (Swenden) O’Shea. He received his education in the Waterbury schools.John married the former Dorothy Kritzman in Waterbury on March 2, 1974. At the time of his death, John was employed at Vermont Composites in Bennington.Spending time with family, especially his grandchildren, was his greatest joy.Survivors include his wife, Dorothy O’Shea of Bennington; four children, Jessica, Stefanie and Michael O’Shea, all of Bennington and John O’Shea and his fiance Penny Veach of Naugatuck, Conn.; nine grandchildren, Michelle, Jessica, Tyler, John Jr., Shane, Michael Benjamin, Dyllan, Colby and Arron; two brothers. Martin O’Shea of Bennington and Thomas O’Shea of Wolcott, Conn.; an aunt and uncle, Alan and Paula O’Shea of Rockland, Mass.; several nieces, nephews and cousins.The funeral will be held from the Mahar & Son Funeral Home Saturday, Jan. 29, 2005, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Michael A. Demasi officiating.Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.Entombment will take place in Park Lawn Chapel with burial to be in this cemetery in the spring.Should friends desire, contributions in John N.
