MULVIHILL, W/Cmdr. John C. AFC, CD 1918 - 2003 On Wednesday August 13th, 2003, Dad passed away comforted by his family, at Barrhaven Manor. Predeceased 2 months ago by his beloved wife Rita (nee LaBarge), this wonderful man will be sorely missed and forever remembered by his daughters, Maureen (Mac MacArthur), Patricia (Hugh Graham), and Cathy (Terry Meadows); his sons, John (Debbie) and Michael (Christine). His 11 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter loved him dearly. Dedicated to his country and completely devoted to his family, Dad's qualities of commitment, integrity, strength, and honesty were exemplary. Dad enjoyed the wonders of nature, the advance of science and the warmth of family and friends. He respected others and in turn gained their respect. This outstanding gentleman, this man of honour will remain in our hearts and minds forever. Once again, thank you, to the compassionate staff of Barrhaven Manor whose incredible warmth and expertise made difficult times easier. A Mass in Memory will be held at St. Leonard's Church in Manotick, on Saturday, August 16th, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. In Memoriam donations to the Canadian Red Cross Society, Ottawa Chapter or the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Eastern Ontario would be appreciated.
