John L. Lennon March 12, 1936 - January 12, 2011 Norwich - John L. Lennon, 74, passed away on Wednesday at Regency Heights of Norwich. He was born on March 12, 1936 to the late Elizabeth and William Lennon Sr. He was married to and is survived by Diane (Noyce) Lennon of Plainfield, CT; four stepsons David Dick, John Dick, Kevin Dick, Keith Geer; eight grandchildren, one brother-in-law Raymond Noyce and good friend Ralph Bergman. He was predeceased by his brother William Lennon Jr. John proudly served his country, within the National Guard for eight years, during the Vietnam War. He was very active in the Alcoholics Anonymous program for many years. There will be no calling hours and the burial is private.
