DANIA BEACH, Fla. John J. (Jack) Shea, age 56, died suddenly January 26, 2005 at Joe DiMaggio Hospital in Hollywood, Fla. He was born in Albany on June 1, 1948 and was an area resident until moving to Verona, N.J. then Marblehead, Mass. and retiring to Dania Beach. Jack graduated from Vincentian Institute and attended Niagara University and Siena College. He was vice president of Honeywell Industries. Besides his professional accomplishments, Jack was a successful athlete during his school years, playing football, basketball, baseball and track at Vincentian Institute. He continued to play basketball at Niagara University. He earned All-Albany Honors and was recently selected for the Diocesan Hall of Fame. Son of Barbara Keane Shea and the late William J. Shea Jr. Survived by his loving son, Zachary L. Shea and his daughter-in-law Irma of West Paterson, N.J.; brother of Barbara Pallozzi (Carmen) of Ocala, Fla., Colleen Yund (George) of Schodack, William Shea III of Albany, Daniel Shea of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Michael Shea (Maggie) of Clifton Park and Thomas Shea (Geri) of Waterford and many nieces, nephews. Jack is also survived by the love of his life, Michelle (Keiko) Chiles and her daughter, Angela Chiles Lund. Calling hours will be held Tuesday evening, February 1, 2005 at the Magin and Keegan Funeral Home, 891 Madison Ave., Albany from 4 to 8.
