-><!-- DisplayFullObituaryText -->JOHN E. HARDING82, of Hallstead, PA went home to be with the Lord on July 3, 2013. He was the son of the late John G. and Sophie Tabish Harding. John is survived by his children, Cheryl Kardjian, Syracuse, NY, Carol Harding, Texas, Vincent and Karen Harding, Ringwood, NJ, Kathy Grenier, Lancaster, PA, and John and Kelly Harding, Montrose, PA; fifteen grandchildren; a sister, Isabelle Harding, Philadelphia, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews. John was born in a small coal mining town in Pennsylvania during the depression. He graduated from Blythe Township High School and joined the Army. He proudly served with the Army and retired after 20 years. John was called back to duty in 1990 for Operation Desert Storm. He was an avid outdoorsman and hunter. John was a devout member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. He always enjoyed a challenging debate and lively conversation. John was an excellent father, grandfather, and neighbor. He loved his family dearly and was always ready to help anyone in need. He will be missed. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 8, 2013 at St. Lawrence Church and at 9:00 a.m. at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Inc., Hallstead, PA. Interment will be made in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Middleport, PA. Friends may call from 3-6 p.m., Sunday. Should friends so desire, expressions of sympathy may take the form of a donation to America Needs Fatima, P.O. Box 341, Hanover, PA 17331.
