O'KEEFE James J., 71, on March 29, 2011 of Dumont for the last 48 years, prior Highbridge section of the Bronx, and born in NYC. Beloved husband of Nancy J. (nee Chipperfield). Devoted father of James Jr. and his wife Elizabeth O'Keefe, Kevin O'Keefe and his spouse Lee Walzer, Mary Alice and her husband Joseph Polcaro, Jacqueline and her husband Scott Myers. Loving grandfather of Jessica O'Keefe, Megan O'Keefe, Joshua O'Keefe-Walzer, Lauren Polcaro, Kaitlyn Polcaro, Joseph John Polcaro and Lillian Myers. Dear brother of Elizabeth Meadows, Geraldine Harvey, Alice Keane, Maureen Winn, Eileen Dolan, and the late Catherine McCann. Also cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews. James retired 20 years ago from The Blarney Stone, NYC, working 25 years as their bartender. The funeral mass Monday 10 AM at St. Therese R.C. Church, Cresskill. Interment George Washington Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday 4-8 PM at the Frech Funeral Home, 161 Washington Ave., Dumont, and request in lieu of flowers donations be made to Villa Marie Claire Hospice, 12 W. Saddle River Rd., Saddle River, NJ 07458 in his memory.
