SHEA, JOHN P. John P. Shea, of Suffern, NY, died Thursday, October 6, 2005 at the Ramapo Manor Center for Rehabilitation. He was 76 years old. He was born on March 9, 1929 in New York City to Mortimer and Julia Shea, where he was raised and attended local schools. Mr. Shea served in the US Army during WWII. He married Ilene Sorenson on November 11, 1967 in NYC. Mr. Shea was a Lieutenant for the Port Authority Police. He retired in 1972. He was also worked as a private investigator for SheaFuller Associates of Suffern for over 15 years. He is survived by his loving wife Ilene of Suffern, NY; two children, Stephen Eymer of Florida and Leslie Eymer of Suffern, two grandchildren Michael and David. His funeral service will be celebrated by Fr. Marlon Beof, OAR, on Monday, October 10, 2005 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. The family will be present to receive friends on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at The WANAMAKER & CARLOUGH Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY.
