Miss Helen Frances Robertson, 88, of Gainesville died Friday, March 19, 2010, at her residence.Born in Heard County, Miss Robertson was the daughter of the late of the late William Franklin and Willie Mae Fletcher Robertson. She was a retired registered nurse, having worked at the V.A. Hospital in Decatur for a number of years. Miss Robertson was a member of the Lanier Christian Church. She is preceded in death by her brother, John Fletcher Robertson.Survivors include her sister, Mrs. James "Hazel" Hamrick, Gainesville; niece, Brenda Crowder, Gainesville; nephews, John Fletcher Robertson Jr., Chattanooga, Tenn., William Delbert Robertson, Nashville, Tenn., David C. Hamrick, Douglasville and William T. Hamrick, Gainesville; and a number of great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 21, 2010, in the Little & Davenport Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. David Simpson will officiate. Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
