GUY JUBINVILLE With great sorrow we announce the death of Guy Jubinville on Saturday, July 19, 2003 at St. Boniface Hospital, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Guy is survived by his wife Natalia of 44 years; his sisters, Nicole Jubinville of Coaticook, QC, Diane (Gervais) Dube of Austin, QC; sisters-in-law, Rejeanne Jubinville of Coaticook, QC, Shirley Olson of Winnipeg, Jeanette (David) LaCroix of Mississippi, U.S.A. Also six nieces and nephews, Martin and Jose-Marie Dube, Sylvie Jubinville, John Paul Jubinville, Shelley (Olson) Woloshyn and Dale LaCroix. Guy was predeceased by his mother in 1983, father in 1992, brother John-Yves in 1994, brother Real in 2000, brother-in-law Donald Olson in 1989 and mother-in-law Rose Zimêmer in 2001. Born July 12, 1934 and raised in Coaticook, QC, Guy joined the Air Force in 1953 and was stationed to Winnipeg. In 1957 he obtained employment with CP Express, where he worked for the next 11 years. In 1968 he accepted a position with the CBC Staging and Design Department where he worked until his retirement in 1994. Guy enjoyed golfing, bowling and was an enthusiastic card player. He was an avid fan of hockey, football and baseball. He was very proud of his home, yard and garden where he spent many happy hours. Due to failing health in his retirement he was unable to enjoy all the things that he truly loved to do. At Guy's request, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 30 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Vital Cemetery, 236 River Rd., Fr. Gerry Ward will preside. Special thanks to all our friends and neighbours who have supported us during the last few years. Also thanks to the staff, doctors and clergy at St. Boniface Hospital for their care and kindness. Flowers gratefully declined.
