January 3, 2008 of Lackawanna, NY; beloved husband of Christine Scherer (nee Rokitka); dearest father of Jessica (David) Olsen, Derrick, Stephanie and Michael Scheelar; adored by step-children Jennifer Scheelar and Sandra and Jeanette Scherer; loving grandfather of Kaylee Autumn Olsen; son of the late Raymond and Michiko Rose Matthews; loving son-in-law of Edward and Lorraine Rokitka; beloved brother-in-law of Mary Jane (Anthony) Poleto, Daniel (Donna) Rokitka and Ronald Rokitka; also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of wonderful friends who have been supportive of our family.
