FRANK L. BILLINGS HESSVILLE, IN Frank Billings, age 74, of Hessville, passed away suddenly on Friday, May 22, 2009. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Melba "Jane" Billings; two sons: Randall (Patricia) Billings of Hammond and Ronald (Michele) Billings of Valparaiso; one daughter, Kimberly (Rich Dill) Norton of Hammond; six grandchildren: Adrienne (Ian) Broski, Chris (Nikki) Norton, Monica (Doug) Kooy, Abby, Tom and Matthew Billings; six great-grandchildren: Chloe and Sara Norton, Isabelle and Mason Broski and Haylee and Jocelyn Kooy; one sister, Dorothy McClain of Rantoul, IL; and numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Emma Billings; and one sister, Shirley McConnell. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) with Pastor Gilbert Barnett officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Hammond. Friends are invited to meet with the family at Bocken Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 26, 2009 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Frank was a resident of Hessville since 1962, he attended Orchard Drive Baptist Church and was retired from Inland Steel after 41 years of service as an electrician. Frank was a member of the Indiana Harbor Masonic Lodge #686 of Highland which member's will conduct a Masonic Service at the funeral home on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. and he was also a member of The Moose Lodge #570 of Hammond. Frank was a loving and faithful husband, father, devoted grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
