FRAMINGHAM Emma (Faini) Sartori, 90, died May 9, 2008. She was the wife of Louis A. Sartori, who died in 1999. They had been married for 58 years. She was the daughter of Aurelia Lupacchini and Eugenio Faini. Born in Lehigh, Iowa, she had moved to Framingham from Nashwaulk, Minn. when she was very young. She graduated from Framingham High School and attended Framingham Business College. She was president of the Danforth Junior Womens Club, vice president and treasurer of the Roosevelt School PTA, a den mother for St. Tarcisius Church Cub Scout Pack for four years, and co-chairman of the Precinct United Way Drive. She helped recruit participants for the new Heart Study in Framingham when it began. She was a volunteer for over 20 years at the MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham and also served as a director of the Auxiliary Aid for the hospital. She leaves three sons, Louis E. Sartori and his wife, Judy, of Framingham, Michael V. Sartori and his wife, Linda, of South Dennis, and T. J. Sartori and his wife, Sara, of Hopedale. She leaves seven grandchildren, Gina, Angela, Christina, Alicia, Peter, Michael and Emily. She also leaves her sister Lola Stanley of Hudson, Fla., and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral on Wednesday, May 14, at 9 a.m. from the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech St. (Corner of Union Ave.), Framingham, followed by her funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Tarcisius Church, 563 Waverly St. (Rte. 135), Framingham. Burial will follow in St. Tarcisius Cemetery, Winthrop St. Framingham. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be Tuesday, May 13, from 4 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Framingham Heart Study, 73 Mt.
